There’s a character design trope known as Charlie Brown Baldness, in which a character may look near-bald, but actually has a full head of hair that the artist simply doesn’t draw due to stylistic preferences. This trope does not apply to Zack. He has virtually two hairs on his head. I think his hairstyle drives home the point that he’s a simpleton.
