Eva has other symptoms of CIPA besides just the inability to feel pain or high temperatures. Her hair also doesn't grow very well on the undersides, which is why she keeps it styled short on the bottom. She used to frequently get high fevers and infections out of seemingly nowhere, so part of the cyber-augmentations she's done (the connector devices on her head which also power/control her arms) provide vitals and monitor her physical state for her, which appear in readouts in her eye mods so she can deal with them accordingly.

Additionally, her troubles empathizing with people spawn from CIPA, as it impacts her neurologically.

In 2049, people with complex disabilities have more options for self managing their difficulties than we do today, but she still encounters plenty of complications as a result of the disorder.
