Did you know that the gate to the town of Wiraqocha in Vaquerx based off of the Tiahuanaco god by the same name? Wiraqocha appears in Tiahuanaco art and architecture, and I specifically had the Puerta del Sol (Sun Gate) in mind while working on Vaquerx. The Tiahuanaco were a civilization spanning across what is now known as Bolivia and Peru, and much of their imagery was later co-opted by the Incas.
