Readers:Mindful Love is not a copy of lore Olympus. In fact I’ve never read it and know little about it except identifying the two main characters. Mindful love is highly influenced by mucha/art nouveau, art from princess jellyfish, and Pixar’s inside out. The colors derive from my BS degree in art therapy &my older comic Vanquished that used black backgrounds. Emotions and color are so interconnected I would have done this story disservice to not make characters colorful.
Lots of stories have colorful characters,& LO is definitely not the first to use non-human pigments.
If you see color comparisons to LO that’s ok, as long as you see my efforts to make this story original. ❤️
I’ve considered redrawing the first episodes w/my newer style to deter all the LO comments. But time!😂
