Well just found out today is International Asexual day…kind of f*ckin awesome :D
As an AroAce myself I admit it feels pretty great to have a day to spread awareness. It really isn’t an often acknowledged thing, and I hope others can feel seen today in some form.

Quick message to my fellow aces out there: It’s hard to exist in a society that places so much emphasis on physical connection with other people…and I want to reassure you that the moments you have laughing with your friends, enjoying time with family, or relishing in peaceful solitude…those moments are just as, if not more, meaningful and fulfilling. I also want to assure you (as someone who often feels this way despite my best efforts) that you are missing absolutely nothing. :)

The human experience is so, so vast… delight in the unique opportunity to love yourself and this universe while you’re here.
