Hey Everyone!

So I occasionally go back to read and like new comments on older chapters and I noticed quite a few comments mentioning how similar Thoi is to Heartstopper esp in the much earlier episodes.

Tbh when I first started Thoi, I was fresh off reading Heartsopper and it alongside Idiots Don't Catch Colds and Humor Me were HUGE inspirations for me in making my own series!

And while I was under no means trying to directly copy anyone and I definitely wanted to make my own completely distinct thing, I did want to make a very Heartstopper-esque gay teen drama comic and I guess a lot the themes and plot points from Hs kind of inadvertently bled into Thoi

I guess what I'm trying to say is, yeah, I defs see the similarities esp in the earlier chapters, but I believe Thoi is still it's own thing and distincts itself in the later chapters a bit more! Sure, Thoi is a bit cliche and tropey and cheesy, certain things can't be helped, but I think all that just adds to what it is lol
