What is a Referral Event?

Invite your friends to WEBTOON! 

A Referral Event is a promotional event where you and your friends receive Free Coins if they create a new WEBTOON account with one of your codes.

How Referral Events Work

[How to Invite Friends to WEBTOON]

1. Open the WEBTOON app > Go to the ‘More’ tab > Tap ‘Get Free Coins for inviting friends to WEBTOON!’.   

2. Tap the ‘Share Referral Code’ button to send your unique Referral Code to your friend.  

3. Share an invitation message with your friend via a third-party application.  

[How to use a Referral Code you received from a friend]

1. Click ‘Get started now’ URL in the invitation message that you received.  

2. Copy the Referral Code. 

3. Click ‘Use Referral Code’ button below. 

4. Sign up or log in to the WEBTOON app.  

5. Enter the Referral Code. The Referral Code must be used within 7 days of creating a WEBTOON account. 

Rules

​[Codes]  

- Each Referral Code can be used up to [5] times. A Referral Code that has been used 5 times cannot be used for the 6th time. 

- Referral Codes are not interchangeable between different service languages (e.g., referral codes of Spanish service cannot be used in English service).  

- Referral Codes are case sensitive.
