Series Preview
Series Preview is a new feature that gives users the opportunity to get a sneak peek of a series. If the story suits their tastes, users can continue their journey and read through to the end of the first episode.
Preview Tab / Episode Tab
What’s new? Both a Preview Tab and Episode Tab have been added to the Series Page.
Upon entering the Series Page, users who have not yet read the series will land on the Preview Tab. Returning users who have read the series will land on the Episode Tab.
Preview Function
In the Series Preview, users read through the beginning half of the first episode. At the end of the preview screen, users can tap on a button that will move them into Episode 1. From there, users will continue the story from where the Series Preview ended.
Preview Function Details
Special effects, such as Background Music or motion panels, are not included in the Series Preview.
The Series Preview will not be recorded under a user’s reading history. A user who scrolled through the preview, but did not read through an episode, will be dropped into the Preview Tab the next time they visit the Series Page.
In some cases, the entire first episode may appear in the Series Preview.
This feature is only available for scrolling series on the WEBTOON app.
