Hey Discover Creators!

 

In case you missed it, last week we hinted at new methods for Discover Creators to monetize their content in Webtoon. Well, today we are sharing with you the beta version of the Ad Revenue Sharing Program for Discover that is almost here! We will launch the program in early August and we can’t wait for even more creators to start making money for their amazing storytelling on Webtoon.

 

We will make it easy to get paid by working with our partners at Patreon to distribute earned ad revenue. With a valid Patreon ID you can continue to collect the money you earn through Webtoon within the same Patreon platform you utilize to build your membership business.

 

As we did with the Pledge Program, the Ad Revenue Sharing Program will also have eligibility requirements. Titles that resonate with readers earn what they deserve and you can remain focused on making great webtoons for your audience. But that’s not all, as we continue to improve monetization opportunities that were limited in the Pledge Program, we want to reward prolific creators even more. Now you can monetize ALL your eligible titles, not just one per creator as previously done with the Pledge Program.

 

We are currently reviewing our content policy and guidelines to lay the groundwork for an advertiser-friendly environment. The Ad Revenue Sharing Program will have new eligibility requirements in order to maximize revenue across the platform.

 

If you are currently publishing mature content in Discover and wish to participate in the upcoming Ad Revenue Sharing Program, you must ensure that the published work adheres to the content guidelines.

 

Please stay current with content guideline in the Discover Policy, which will be updated as we move into the beta version of the Ad Revenue Sharing Program.
