When she wakes up, Mila immediately notices that she has been inexplicably transported to the year 1940, during the time when the Dutch Colony was reigning supreme in Batavia. Confronted with this perplexing predicament, Mila is compelled to find a way to return to her own time. Yet, her efforts take an ominous turn as she stumbles upon a shocking scene—a man, her very own grandfather, committing a heinous murder in his garden, where he proceeds to bury the unfortunate victim amongst his flowers.
