Hae-eun has spent her life surviving one tragedy after another. Adopted into a wealthy family, she soon discovers that her new home hides a dark secret—she is being used for mysterious experiments. After illness, abandonment, and a desperate escape, she is forced to start her life over once again. Years later, fate brings her back to Myung-joon, her first love. But when she makes another wrong choice and Myung-joon agrees to fulfill her request, they end up kidnapping Ro-hee, a brilliant young genius, dangerously entangling all three of their lives. As the three confront secrets from the past and an inevitable tragedy, they must make impossible choices to survive. Can Hae-eun break free from the fate that has followed her, or will the truth destroy them all? [This series contains mature content and sensitive themes that may not be suitable for all readers.
