In magical Tenochtitlan, Miyotl, a young Mexica, travels to the Purépecha wars in search of her father, who had been recruited some time ago. After a time in war and a tragic battle, our protagonist, fighting for her life, achieves what is forbidden to her people: awakening her inner magic. When she meets a young Mongolian priestess and a young samurai, the three of them will have to travel to get answers and return to their lands while surviving the attacks of the corrupt elite in Tenochtitlan.
