Chapter 4: The Night of the Storm. During a storm, Yuzu's stepfather enragedly beats her puppy Max, causing Yuzu to feel desperation. After the storm, Yuzu decides to escape for herself and Max, leaving behind the pain and violence as her only hope. This violence worsens as Yuzu's situation worsens.
