A content warning heads up! The hardest pages of Julienne are coming up starting this week through the next few updates. I kept this scene as short and oblique as possible, as the main focus of the book is tenderness/safety/healing. Though this scene is probably quite “tame” as far as a lot of webtoons on here, I’m worried it might be jarring/upsetting in contrast to how the book’s been going so far.
The goal of this current scene is Julienne remembering a really traumatic event/turning point in his past, and finally letting himself feel some things he couldn’t back then out of survival/internalized bigotry.
In case you need to skip this part, or wait to read it all in one go, the most intense parts are at pages 65-66, and the whole scene is finished at page 72, which I’m hoping to complete within 4-5 weeks. Each of the pages/episodes will have their own content warnings as I post them.
Take good care of yourselves!! 🩷
