WEBTOON Producer 

 

Department: WEBTOON Team

 

[Position Summary]

LINE WEBTOON is opening a full-time position for an experienced producer. This position will work with our fun team in Thailand and global counterpart in WEBTOON HQ in Korea and take responsibilities to help LINE WEBTOON to become the best digital comic platform in Thailand.

 

As an producer in LINE WEBTOON, you will also get a chance to experience various types of work by collaborating with the most valuable and enthusiastic people in the digital creative industry. If you enjoy new challenges and is a comic enthusiast, then this position is perfect for you.

 

[Responsibilities]

·         Talent scout for local creators and support them to develop stories

·         Track artists’ progress, timeline and storyline

·         Coordinate with artists, HQ, and clients (in case of business part) 

·         Upload manuscript and promotional banners

·         Review, proofread and edit all text and illustration elements on webtoons

·         Create copies for promotional banners and other media 

·         Manage necessary documents for the artists (e.g., contracts, invoices, etc.)

 

[Qualifications]

·         Strong affection towards webtoon or cartoon

·         Bachelor’s degree from reputable universities or at least 2 years of experience in related fields

·         Education background in films, animations, media creation, or communications is a plus

·         Understanding of story development and know how to apply it to media creation

·         Fluency in both English and Thai (native-speaking level in speaking, writing and reading)

·         Ability to communicate in Korean is a plus

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Ability to get along well with others

·         Ability to work under pressure

·         Ability to work after hours on rare occasions
