WEBTOON PRODUCER Position Summary
LINE WEBTOON is opening a full-time position for an experienced editor.
This position will work with our fun team in TH and global counterpart in WEBTOON HQ in Korea
and take responsibilities to help LINE WEBTOON to become the best digital comic platform in TH.
As a producer in LINE WEBTOON, you will also get a chance to experience various types of work
by collaborating with the most valuable and enthusiastic people in the digital creative industry.
If you enjoy new challenges and is a webtoon enthusiast, then this position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities
- Talent scout for local creators and support them to develop stories.
- Track artists’ progress, timeline and storyline
- Coordinate with artists, HQ, and clients (in case of business part)
- Upload manuscript and the revisal ones
- Review, proofread and edit all text and illustration elements on webtoons
- Manage necessary documents for the artists such as contracts, invoices, etc.
Qualification
- Strong affection towards webtoon or cartoon
- Minimum bachelor’s degree from reputable universities in related field or have 2+ years experience in related field.
- Fluent in both English and Thai (Native-speaking level in speaking, writing and reading). Able to communicate in Korean is a plus
- Excellent skills in communication
- Understand story development and know how to apply to media creation
- Able to get along well with others
- Able to work under pressure.
- Able to work after hours on rare occasions.
Preferred conditions
- Faculty of Film/Animation/Media creation/Communication studies is a plus
