Much like how people in Japan refer to people by their last name out of respect, then their first when they are closer, the Anthropods refer to each other by species before using given names. Though it seems strange to her, Hannah is just gonna have to get used to being called Ms. Human or Human. I mean, her last name is Sapien, so this isn't something new to her.
