knife safety reminder! when handling a knife, always use claw grip and rest the blade against the knuckles while cutting. pinch the blade and wrap the rest of your fingers around the handle. always make a safety cut (ie. ensure it can lay flat) before cutting anything round, and cut away from yourself, unless you're using a (sharp!!) paring knife. knives do not go in the dishwasher or soapy water!
