FIRST PUBLISHED NOV 30 2018 So this chapter takes place in Steveston Village, which is a place of weeb significance because it is the spot where the first Japanese immigrant to Canada arrived in 1888. (The garden the club goes to exists to honour him.) I actually went to Steveston with to take photo references for the backgrounds in the chapter! (People looked at me like I was a crazy stalker!)
