Since we’d been managing it with diet, we were told that Mom's gestational diabetes would just go away after delivery, but that didn’t stop us from having a worry session when some weird possible symptoms popped up. Managing diabetes is about balancing sugar rather than than just not eating it, but since we were lousy at eating enough of the balancing foods, keeping intake low was a priority.
