Real talk: If you have a world where magic is commonplace, how long would it take for magic to be the default form of warfare, and what shape would it take? Zahrah's father already conquered a nation with counter-spell-using Orc Heretics, but I can't imagine an isolated island nation like Agnidivya would believe that it could come under attack suddenly or couldn't defend itself with magic.
