"Beginner / Veteran / DERBY OR DIE!" (Be-Ve-DIE for short): an aspect of roller derby seen through 3 different stages of progress(?). Remedial Roller Derby: In some venues fans can watch from the floor near the track--outside the 10-foot outer ring that refs skate on. While it's called 'suicide seating' and at-your-own-risk/off limits to minors, it's generally safe...but keep your eyes open!
