I'm not a huge fan of the sentiment: "I can't trust a person who doesn't like dogs." As somebody who *does* like dogs, I can perfectly understand why a decent person might not enjoy being around an animal with no sense of personal space and a propensity for putting filthy things in its mouth. And I understand plenty of *terrible people* can like dogs too. I mean, not to invoke Godwin's Law, but...
