I think it’s a mistake when writers base Lex Luthor on real-life public figures. Just as Superman is the ideal hero, Lex should be the ideal villain - the richest, smartest, most capable human on the planet, whose tragic flaw is his ego. It's a huge disservice to base Lex on the likes of Elon Musk, or Jeff Bezos, or Donald Trump, or ANY of the other wannabe oligarchs of our world. They all WISH.
