I've come to an unfortunate realization that I may be a woefully pretentious contrarian. Every time something I like is ignored by the mainstream public, I resent society for not giving the proper attention and accolades to something that obviously deserves it. But when something I like is revered and beloved by the mainstream public, a voice in my head mutters to me, "Your taste is so basic."
