“Which came first, the chicken or the egg?” is as age old as “Why did the chicken cross the road?” (maybe older). You can make up a giant list of responses to either question, and so I went nosing around inside my own head for answers. And I had Candace, a chronic riddle-teller, as my guide, so of course the search didn’t take long!
