I once read about how mathematical calculations, such as linear equations, have made many technological advances possible. One advance in question is high definition television. This is my own opinion, but I like to think that the quality of television itself hasn’t made the sorts of improvements that the quality of television sets have since the first publicly sold models of the 1940s.
