I’m pretty sure this is the safe and proper way to safely catch a spider (minus the ten foot long paint pole). I have used this method to rid my bedroom of the occasional unwanted arachnid before settling into bed, and if you think of spiders the way Candace does, putting your hand within inches of them can be a chilling experience.
