Well, like Candace points out in the fifth panel, people who spend a lot of time together sometimes start behaving like an old married couple. I didn’t want that to be the case here. I thought it’d be funnier to make these two look like dad and daughter, butting heads over silly things. I don’t know exactly how much older Bob is than Candace, but it has to be by more than ten years.
