I’m simply speaking from memory, but I recall a list of humorous tips given by Garfield the cat in regard to dealing with being too fat. One tip was to only hang around people fatter than you! In the case of today’s comic, it’s not an issue of weight Candace’s boss has on his hands, but his approach to looking a little better to his wife is pretty much the same thing.
