Considering how often children are told about the fable of "the boy who cried wolf", it's utterly hypocritical for adults to only realise now that constantly screaming at younger generations about the terrible state of the economy (even if it isn't) has actual consequences, namely young people being doomer or reckless about their finances. But then again, it's not like things are getting better.
