"The grass is always greener on the other side" suggests that the grass isn't actually greener - but that doesn't stop people from screaming at you they can always find greener grass to replace you. Except that the grass on the other side is also being screamed at for the same thing. Look, admonitions based on other perspectives tend to break down whenever employees get involved.
