A criticism I've heard about playing videogames is that it ends up looking a lot like work - and I'm not sure how that's supposed to make videogames look worse by comparison. If what you do as a job looks suspiciously like farming resources in an MMO I think that says a lot more about what you do than what the likes of Blizzard have been getting players to do for years.
