Years ago, I'd made fun of the oft-repeated proverb based on the definitions of the word "will" - but a point bears repeating. "Will" is one of the easiest things to encourage in someone else because it makes "will" someone else's responsibility. It's "technically" beneficial - but just because something is technically beneficial doesn't mean it's for you.
