I'd previously pointed out and criticised how societies inherently don't like it when people stand out - but on the flip side, sometimes standing out too much or being overly accomplished can be disastrous for your immediate circle. Left unmanaged, there will come a time when neither you nor the people around you will be able to withstand the immense weight of the standards that have been set.
