Experience is a strange form of currency. It's in demand basically everywhere, you can't get through doors or groups without it, and yet when you actually have it the exchange rate is ridiculously low. I get that not all companies do this sort of min-maxing, but I'm pretty sure there's a reason why "do it for the experience" is such a meme, especially in design circles.
