As much as the comic has brushed the topic of status quo and authority's efforts to keep you there, there are times when the reverse holds true. Not all possibilities have a silver lining - or that lining might require ample preparation to safely find. Don't always count on others to helpfully point this out, though. They might be pointing you to the other road to get you out of their hair.
