The big takeaway from discussions around AI is that people just don't seem to want to deal with other people - people have costs, needs, opinions, and all sorts of other fiddly idiosyncrasies that make them a chore to face. You'd think that if people want to replace annoying people with AI, they'd start with the most annoying sort of all: youngsters too smart for their own good.
