On one hand, I'm not a fan of "humanity has reached peak intelligence" doomerism, usually because it's typically used to segue into rants about social media and Gen Y/Z/Alpha. But then again, such sentiments aren't strictly wrong. We are probably looking at an intelligence deficit; where I disagree is that it's not just a younger generation problem. If anything, that makes it even more terrifying.
