If people followed the adage "If you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all", I think we'd never hear anything from the previous generation. No matter how long you stay on in a job, there's no shortage of faults for them to quibble on as a moral failure epidemic. And don't expect them to have an answer when the impossibility of their demands is called out, either.
