For every adult who honestly believes in guiding children on a path of self-discovery, resilience, and not fearing failure, there's going to be ten adults who fall back on the tried-and-tested method of making kids feel like garbage for situations out of their control. Try as the government might, I don't see this realistically changing any time soon.
