Honestly, if four years of actual qualifications aren't enough to convince the powers that be to pay attention to the value of employees, I don't see how micro-credentials are going to shift the needle at all. It just tells me that institutions are so desperate to get people to chase more qualifications, they're willing to undermine their own credibility to do it.
