I'm not convinced that AI will completely destroy how we look at and value other humans. Frankly, it's not as if we've valued grunt workers and people at the bottom of the food chain to start with. Given the chance, the corporate world would rather not think of humans as an asset as a disposable tool. (Side note: Grey goo is an absolutely terrifying scenario, regardless of what tech creates it.)
