For return-to-office advocates, getting the buy in of in-person presence feels like them going against the world. The thing is, the world doesn't disagree with them all that much. The problems start coming when the office isn't the only thing that demands in-person presence - education, childrearing, socialising, etc. Then all of a sudden, that's when the flexi-demands start happening.
