What is liked by someone may be disliked by someone else - but there do exist cases where a turd is a turd, no matter how much you polish it or try to frame it as modern art. That generally hasn't stopped people from dropping snide remarks and unwarranted criticism, on the basis that "if you hate it, it must be good for you", then getting offended when they're called out on it.
