Collaboration is a weird beast. I think most of us wish we had it to see our own dreams and desires come to life, to make up for what we lack or to justify the value we bring to the table. But real life is never that simple. Unless you're in charge or have the charisma, odds are that your "collaboration" will usually end up fulfilling someone else's vision instead.
