The biblical admonition has its place - the problem is that the place it's usually for is silencing dissent and critique. It's technically true: nobody's perfect and everybody has flaws. It's a lesson we could all use, but in reality that's very often not the case. What's likelier to happen is that whose faults are "faultier" boils down to the age-old determinant that is the popularity contest.
