If there's something that I've remembered from school, it's that there is no universal right or wrong, true or false. The accepted version of reality belongs to whoever manages to captivate the audience with the most influence and clout; everything else might as well not exist. The same applies for authenticity and honesty - put up the mask that people want to see, and you've got it made.
